In the beginning...

Last year our house celebrated its 100th year. We decided it was time to replace the original knob-and-tube wiring with modern, grounded wiring. One thing lead to another and we stripped the entire upper floor to the exterior framing. Flooring, drywall, power, lights...

Four months later and the house has surge suppression on the entire panel and I have a completely remodeled studio space. I am still looking for items that I put "someplace safe so they wouldn't get list." Just in time for fall in the Pacific Northwest.

Now that I have a space to work I have been working my way through the projects that were set aside during the remodel. There's an Animal Alphabet baby quilt for William who will celebrate his first birthday in early 2015.

I better get back to work
